A reclusive, elderly widow, "Anna," played by Viola Harris (The Other Guys, Sex and the City 2) lives in quiet desperation following her husband's death until she begins receiving daily phone calls from a mysterious stranger.  Anna is compelled to take surprising action to bring meaning to her life.  This film has won awards at the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Savannah Film Festival and at the 2011 Cleveland International Film Festival.  The Director, Flavio Alves, is best known for his book, Toque de Silencio (Call to Silence), an autobiographical account of his experience as a gay man in the Brazilian Navy.  After receiving death threats as a result of his book, he sought and in 1998 obtained political asylum in the United States.  He has been making films since 2006.
